We went along to the four day festival held on the banks of the Severn in Shrewsbury - on its third site in as many years, the festival is now pretty large and attracts some of the very biggest names in folk music and dance. We tended to go to see acts we have not seen before, performing in the smaller venues and sessions; eschewing the big marquee, in favour of less formal, more intimate performances. Our highlights? - Kerfuffle, Spikedrivers, Hand to Mouth Theatre, Kathryn Tickell and Vicky Swan. This is first of several galleries of photographs from the festival that we will post over the next couple of weeks...
